About us – The History of MBK Kitchen and Bathroom Company
We are a Kent County Council Trading Standards Approved kitchen and bathroom showroom in the Maidstone area and as such I am very proud to be able to display the KCC emblem.
People buy from People…….
I am Stewart Woodruff and I started working with the company when it first opened and all the people currently involved with the company have all worked with me for many years.
I passionately believe that we can make a difference to peoples lives, and by using our knowledge we can produce a project based on your desire and our skills.
Originally called Marden Bathroom and Kitchen Warehouse, the company was founded in 1987 in Staplehurst, Kent. A firm specialising in the design, planning, supply and supervised installation of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and home offices. During the nine years at Staplehurst we worked in all the surrounding villages of Marden, Staplehurst, Linton, Hawkhurst, Tenterden, Goudhurst and Headcorn. The showrooms grew in size and I decided moving to Coxheath would increase our area to include Loose, Maidstone, Kingswood, Barming, Farleigh, Hollingbourne and Aylesford also increasing the products available due to a larger showroom, providing a greater choice for You. In the subsequent years new showroom areas were added and more product lines purchased.
I have a vision for MBK and also a passion for the business, I remember most of the projects we have completed and I like nothing better than to meet old clients. My aim is that we will finish a project to the customers satisfaction at all costs. See what our customer’s say about us by clicking on the Checkatrade link below.
Because of my experience in the industry I write a regular column in the Kitchen and Bathroom News, a national trade magazine and contribute to a leading consumer online blog, The Kitchen Think, a news blog on all things kitchen, where I write articles about design and products. Read them in our LATEST NEWS section.
Due to our continual success we are always looking for experienced installers to join our successful team, they must have a real desire to provide complete customer satisfaction and exhibit pride in their work.
